Scalar Template

Pages

Pages are a crucial component of Scalar, as they allow you to organize text and other elements (such as media).

Creating and Editing Pages
To create a new page, click on theMedia icon icon in the Scalar header bar.
To edit an existing page, navigate to the page and click the Media icon icon.

The Page Editor
When you create or edit a Scalar page, you are directed to the page editor, where you can personalize your pages by adding text, media, links, page styling, and additional metadata. For guidance in using the page editor, check out Editing Pages in the User's Guide.

Hiding/Deleting Pages
TheMedia icon icon in the header bar hides a page from public view. Using the Content tab in the Dashboard, you can find these hidden pages and either make them live again, or delete them entirely. For more information, visit the Content Tabs page in the User's Guide.

Comments
Readers can add comments to any page or media file of a book. However, comments are moderated and will not become visible on the site until an author of the book explicitly makes them live from the Scalar Dashboard. To read more, visit User Comments in the User's Guide.
